Steel deliveries to us are generally next day… and if there is no fabrication required, we aim to get these out to you as soon as they arrive. With fabricated projects, we work closely with you to ensure your deadlines are met.
For structural steel, generally as part of your project you’ll receive structural calculations from your structural engineer. This, as well as a few measurements, is all we need to get a quotation over to you. For architectural steelwork, gates, railings, doors, balustrades etc, we’d love to hear your ideas, go through some images with you and get a feel for what you’re trying to achieve. After this, we do the rest.

As long as we have all the information we need, we aim to get quotations back to you the same day.
Not at all. We don’t just cater for larger projects. If you just want to pop down and grab some steel for your own projects, we’re here for that also.
For steel sections, they’re generally laid out in standard format.
For example: 203x203x46 uc. This would be height x width x kg per metre, with UC being the section type, in this case ‘universal column’. UC sections for structural use usually start at 152x152x23uc.
The other type is a universal beam, or ‘ub’, generally written ‘203x102x23ub’ After that there are of course others: RHS – rectangular hollow section; SHS – Square hollow section; CHS – Circular hollow section; PFC – Parallel Flange Channel; RSA – Rolled steel angle. If in doubt, just give us a call. We’ll be happy to help.
We do, we currently have a 3.5t drop side for our deliveries, but if that isn’t going to cut it, we work closely with a local company with vehicles more than capable of getting any sizes to you.
Of course. If your project uses standard cut lengths of universal columns or universal beams, we’re happy to work from your measurements. But most projects require some form of detailed connection, in which case allow for a site survey to get all the correct dimensions we need to complete.

We do hold stock, but we don’t hold everything. Anything you do need, we can generally have in to us the next day.
